I am a research assistant in Prof. Zhongying Zhao’s lab at HKBU, supervised by Dr. Guoye Guan and Prof. Renjie Wan.

My main research direction is developing deep learning methods for processing image data in developmental biology. During my time as an RA, I completed one first-author project that is published in Communications Biology. I also contributed to three other projects, with results published in CVPR 2025, Bioinformatics, and Science of The Total Environment, respectively.

My long-term aspiration is to utilize advanced AI technologies to understand and decode the mathematical principles underlying life sciences.
